How a job actually runs
From the day you call to the day you sign it off — what happens, when, and who’s doing it.
Same-day answer, seven days A written scope before any work
Painting Whatcom County since 1997
Six stages, and you decide when each one moves.
Nothing happens on your property that isn’t written down first.
-
You get in touch
Call, or send the form. Either way you hear back the same day, seven days a week between 7am and 5pm.
-
We walk the property
We come out and look at it properly — substrate, condition, what has failed and why, what you actually want. Bring your questions.
-
You get it in writing
A scope naming every surface, every prep step, the products, the sheen, the coat count, the timeline and the price. Read it before you agree to anything. No verbal quotes, no square-footage guesses.
-
We schedule it
A start date and a realistic duration. Exteriors are weather-dependent in this county and we’ll tell you honestly what that means rather than promising a date we can’t hold.
-
We do the work
Wash, prepare, prime and paint, clean, inspect. Site packed down every evening, and the same crew from the first day to the last.
-
You sign it off
We walk it, then you walk it. Anything you’re not happy with gets sorted before we call it finished — and it’s covered in writing afterwards.
Five steps. No surprises in between.
The same sequence on every job, written into your scope before anyone opens a can.
-
Wash
Every surface we’re painting gets washed first. Moss, mildew, dirt and chalking come off before anything else happens. In this climate that step is not optional.
-
Prepare
Loose and failing paint scraped back. Surfaces sanded for adhesion. Every joint checked and caulked so weather stays outside the wall.
-
Prime & paint
Bare and repaired areas spot-primed, then premium coatings applied to the coat count in your written scope.
-
Clean
Chips, debris and equipment packed away at the end of every day. You get your driveway back each evening.
-
Inspect
We walk the whole job and check it. Then you walk it with us. It isn’t finished until you say it is.
Asked before we start.
Anything else, call 360-319-9608 — a person answers, seven days a week.
Usually within a few days of your call. Exteriors in the middle of the season book further out, and we will tell you the honest date rather than the one you want to hear.
No. Plenty of our customers are out all day. We agree access at the start and pack the site down every evening either way.
Tell us. Changes get priced and added to the scope in writing before we do them — that way there is never a surprise on the final invoice.
Five years on labour and materials, in writing, on every job. If something fails in that window we come back and put it right.
