Drywall repairs done right to blend in.
Holes, cracks, water damage and failed texture — cut back, patched, textured to match and repainted so the repair fades into the background.
Painting Whatcom County since 1997
Matching the texture is the hard part.
Patching a hole is straightforward. Making the patch blend in is not.
Orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel and hand texture all have to be matched in pattern and in depth, then feathered out far enough that the light doesn’t catch the edge. That is the difference between a repair that takes center stage in your room, and one that fades away.
Drywall damage is the most common thing that goes wrong in a house — furniture, door handles, a leak upstairs. We work efficiently because you have a day to get on with, and we keep the disruption to the room we are in.
Based in Bellingham, we repair drywall across Whatcom and Skagit County.

Clarity is key. Everyone is on the same page before work begins.

In almost every case, yes — orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel and hand textures are all matchable. Very heavy or unusual hand textures take a test patch first, which we will do before committing.
Compound needs time between coats, so a repair is usually two visits rather than one long day. Small patches can sometimes be done in a single visit.
Only if we need to. We feather the paint out to a natural break so the repair disappears — but on a strong color or a sheen that shows, painting corner to corner is the honest answer and we will say so.
We repair the damage, not the plumbing. If the source is still active we will tell you before we board it up, because patching over a live leak wastes your money.
There is a call-out minimum, and it is usually worth batching a few small repairs into one visit. Tell us everything on the list and we will price it together.
Removal is quoted separately, and on a pre-1978 property it needs testing first. Repairing and matching an existing popcorn ceiling is possible but rarely invisible — we will be straight with you about it.
I recently had Puget Sound Painting paint both the interior and exterior of my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of their work was exceptional, and they completed the project in a timely manner.

Send us a photo of the damage.
A photo and a rough measurement is usually all we need to give you a range before we come out.
Tell us what caused it too — a door handle and a leak in the ceiling are very different jobs underneath.
